Energy Giver or Energy Taker

April 20, 2017

Are You an Energy Giver or an Energy Taker?

Whether you are a player, parent, coach, teacher, administrator, business person, or in any field of work we believe this message is important!

Every day you have a choice. A choice to either be an Energy Giver or a choice to be an Energy Taker.

An energy taker is someone who is lazy, who is selfish, who is soft, who has poor body language, who complains, who makes excuses, who blames others.  Nobody wants to coach or play with an energy taker.

On the other hand an ENERGY GIVER is someone who plays with PASSION, SPIRIT, & ENTHUSIASM. An Energy Giver is someone who works extremely hard, who shows up early, who is mentally tough. An Energy Giver is someone who encourages teammates, celebrates teammates, and makes their teammates better.  An Energy Giver is someone who is grateful and humble.

At Impact our commitment is to teach young athletes to be Energy Giver's and to lift up everyone around them.
